GLENDALE, CA -- The Armenian National Committee of America—Western Region announced its endorsement of U.S. Congressional candidate Danny Tarkanian. The ANCA-WR encourages the large and expanding Armenian American community in Nevada’s newly established District 4 to vote for Danny Tarkanian, TODAY June 12, 2012.
As the front running Republican candidate in District 4, Tarkanian is a proven vote getter. Tarkanian is an exceptionally talented and hardworking individual who is also a proud Armenian American. If elected, Tarkanian will be a strong ally in Congress, working with the ANCA-WR on areas of critical importance, including the Armenian Genocide resolution, the Return of Church Properties, increasing aid to Armenian, Nagorno Karabakh and Javakhk. Every Armenian American vote for Tarkanian on the June 12 primary will be critical to his becoming the next congressman for Nevada.
