Letter to U.S. Representatives who have not co-signed (Letters will be sent individually)
Dear Representative:
As your constituent, I urge you to cosign the bipartisan letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio led by Representatives Frank Pallone, Gus Bilirakis, and David Valadao, calling for urgent U.S. action on Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh).
The letter requests:
A collective and protected return of Armenians forcibly displaced from Artsakh;
Azerbaijan’s release of Armenian hostages and political prisoners held in Azerbaijan;
Immediate action to stop Azerbaijan’s destruction of Christian Armenian heritage sites.
In September 2023, Azerbaijan ethnically cleansed the Armenian population of Artsakh, violently displacing the 120,000 indigenous Armenian Christians following a 10-month-long blockade. Azerbaijan is now destroying churches, homes, and monuments, erasing the cultural and historical presence of Armenians from their homeland.
The U.S. must not turn a blind eye to these atrocities. Please sign the letter before the July 11th deadline and affirm America’s commitment to justice and security for Artsakh’s Armenian Christians.
