10/10/19 - Rep. Trone posted the following to Facebook: "Capricious. Wrong-headed. Morally bankrupt. Just a few words to describe President Trump's latest terrible foreign policy decision, which abandons a U.S. ally in a critical region while letting a NATO member run roughshod over the Kurdish population in northern Syria.

To make matters worse, the NYT reports Turkey has been using U.S.-gathered surveillance info, including video, in the lead up to their attack. That info is meant to help us fight ISIS, not be twisted to attack the same Kurdish forces who have been instrumental in our counterterrorism operations. This is not what the U.S. stands for."
