10/29/19 - Rep. Doyle posted the following to Facebook: "This afternoon, the House is taking a vote on H.R. 4695, the Protecting Against Conflict by Turkey Act. This bill is a very targeted response to the conflict in the region—it would hold Turkey responsible for its invasion of northern Syria by imposing tough sanctions until it withdraws from the area. It would also require a concrete strategy from the Trump Administration for combating ISIS, protecting Kurdish fighters, and evaluating the human rights violations committed by Turkish forces.

I’m voting yes to send a strong signal to Turkey about our nation’s opposition to its aggression – and to our Kurdish allies about our commitment to their protection despite recent policy changes." View the Facebook post here.
