03/30/24 - Rep. Keating posted the following to Facebook: "Just a few days ago, Bill and I exchanged messages about the recent Russian terrorist attack. It’s not surprising to me that a man so passionate about foreign affairs was so keenly involved until the very end. I am thankful for how closely we were able to work on international policy - particularly European issues - in the past few years. Bill and I shared three elected positions - Massachusetts State Representative, Norfolk County District Attorney, and Congressman for Southeastern Massachusetts. So I know how diligently he worked for the people of Massachusetts at home and in DC. As a DA he was a national trailblazer on creating the Norfolk Plan, a domestic violence program way ahead of its time and emulated across the country. Most recently we had been working together to advance peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Countless colleagues and friends, among whom I count myself, will miss his wit and wisdom. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, who - despite his extensive work and interests - always remained the center of his life. May he rest in peace." View the Facebook post here.

09/19/23 - Rep. Keating tweeted "The use of force by Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh is unacceptable and undermines peace negotiations which sought to normalize relations, while protecting the rights and liberties of people in NK. There must be an end to hostilities, de-escalation, and a diplomatic solution." View the tweet here.

05/01/23 - Rep. Keating tweeted "This week the Foreign Ministers of #Azerbaijan and #Armenia are coming together for peace negotiations in Washington, DC. Despite recent events, I am optimistic and support this very important step to pave the way for a durable peace between these two neighbors." View the tweet here.

12/16/22 - Rep. Keating tweeted "I am deeply concerned about the ongoing blockade by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh through the closure of the Lachin Corridor – the only road connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia." View the tweet here.

12/16/22 - Rep. Keating tweeted "While I am heartened that Azerbaijan restored natural gas supplies to Nagorno-Karabakh, I urge Azerbaijani leadership to immediately stop the blockade." View the tweet here.
