Industrial Output in Artsakh Grows 4.5 Percent

STEPANAKERT (Arka)—The industrial output in the Artsakh Republic in the period between January to April of this year has increased 4.5 percent from the year before, according to Artsakh’s National Statistical Service (NSS).
The mining industry and quarries accounted for 25.7 percent of the total industrial output; processing industry accounted for 32.8 percent; supply of electricity, gas and steam accounted for 40.4 percent; and supply of water and waste management accounted for 1.1 percent.
The production of consumer goods totaled about 3.7 billion drams, which was a 7.7 percent increase on the same period from 2014.
