GLENDALE—After an unprecedented legislative year in 2015 for the Armenian American community, activists from across California will join the Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region (ANCA-WR), the California State Legislature, and the CA Armenian Legislative Caucus led by Assemblymembers Katcho Achadjian, Adrin Nazarian, Scott Wilk and Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin De León in commemorating the 101st Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at the State Capitol in Sacramento on Monday, April 18, 2016. On the same day, the ANCA-WR will host its annual CA Advocacy Day, which will include meeting opportunities with state legislators and events around the capitol.
