GLENDALE—Armenia School Foundation (ASF) USA is proud to announce the completion of seventeen new projects this year, marking 2016 as one of the most successful years of operation since its founding in 2003. Through the dedication and hard work of its board members, ASF surpassed its mission of striving to provide comfortable and safe learning environment by providing new student and teacher classroom furniture to schools in remote villages in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.

Projects were made possible through general donations, donations in-lieu-of-gifts, or in-memory-of loved ones in both Armenia and Diaspora. In addition, in June of 2016, ASF USA was gifted a very generous 2nd year donation from Tamberchi Foundation.
Since August of 2015, ASF has been working in full capacity worldwide and has provided a total of 570 new student desk/chair sets (1140 studnets), 158 teacher desk/chair sets, 162 blackboards, 140 bookshelves, 6 computer desks, 126 coat hangers, 10 preschool tables, and numerous historical books and maps, which were delivered to the following 16 schools.

- Artsvabert, Tavoosh Region
- Ditak, Artashat Region
- Ijevan Arevik Children’s Center, Tavoosh Region
- Ayrum. Tavoosh Region (Donated in Memory of Mrs. Sirvart Sarkissian Panossian)
- Goght, Kotayk Region
- Apnagyugh Pre-School, Aragazotn Region
- Aparan Military Training School, Aragatzotn Region
In collaboration with the Melik-Voskanian Family Fund, furthermore, ASF sponsored a Permanent Exhibit Hall and Arts Workshop, which opened its doors to the public on July 4, 2016, at Zeytoon School #136 in Yerevan. The combination of the exhibition hall with an art workshop has the dual benefit of providing students with a lively environment to create artworks inspired by the high artistic standard set by Rostom Voskanian’s legacy and vision.
