Armenian Genocide Museum Acquires Photo from Battle of Van

YEREVAN (ArmRadio)—The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) has acquired an exceptional photo of the heroic battle of Van, AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan informs in a Facebook post.

The photo presents the fighters of the battle of April 1915 and the cannons confiscated from the Turkish regular army 101 years ago.

The photo taken by an American missionary doctor in Van and was once published in the American press, but the original photo had long been considered lost.
