YEREVAN—Inspired by the best global practices in education and the growing opportunities created by modern technologies, the unique educational platform developed by Dasaran since the program’s inception in 2009 has increased transparency in Armenia’s public school system and made education more accessible.

Consistent with its innovative work in educational technology, Dasaran has released a diagnostic tool for public education, which has been developed in cooperation with the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Education and the European Union.

The tool, named the E-Stat Diagnostic Tool on Public Education (eSDT), was officially presented at Dasaran Educational Center on November 23. Levon Mkrtchyan, RA Minister of Education and Science, H.E. Piotr Antoni Switalski, Ambassador, Head of European Union Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. The only one of its kind in Armenia, the E-Stat Diagnostic Tool on Public Education is an advanced online statistical-analytical tool that aims to provide comprehensive insights into the school education system and allow for effective monitoring of public schools and education indicators throughout the country.

The diagnostic tool was conceptualized in order to support the Armenian government and key educational policymakers in collecting a more comprehensive and accurate set of data to be used in identifying major gaps and challenges in Armenia’s public education system and making data-driven policy decisions to reform it.

“Dasaran, as a program brought to life by motivated young people, had such a successful launch of its activities that it got the high respect of the world`s leading educational centers. I am grateful to Dasaran for everything it has been doing, and I am full of hope that we`ll expand our cooperation with Dasaran, and that we can succeed first and foremost in the direction of e-learning.

In this sense, we as the Ministry [of Education] have to open up the respective roads for itâ€
