GLENDALE — Nominated by Council Member Paula Devine, and seconded by past Mayor and current Council member Zareh Sinanyan, the Glendale City Council unanimously appointed Former Chairman and current member of the Board of Governors of the Armenian Bar Association and Co-Chair of its Armenian Rights Watch Committee (ARWC), Garo Ghazarian, Esq. to the Glendale’s Civil Service Commission.
Mayor Ara Najarian expressed his gratitude to the nominee, by stating — “Thank you Garo Ghazarian for volunteering. It’s a thankless job sometimes. In fact, sometimes it’s worse than thankless, it’s a criticized job sometimes, but we appreciate you, you and all the other commissioners that serve our city, all the time, and volunteering.â€
