Letter to U.S. Senators and Representatives to Co-Sign the Pallone-Markey Letter
Dear Senator / Representative:
I am writing to ask you to co-sign the bicameral Pallone-Markey letter calling on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to hold Azerbaijan accountable for committing war crimes, taking hostages, and illegally occupying Armenian territory – before the COP29 climate summit in Baku this November.
This letter, led by Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) and Frank Pallone (D-NJ)—two of America’s leading voices on environmental concerns—calls on Azerbaijan to address its poor human rights track record “ahead of COP29”—specifically highlighting the right of Artsakh’s indigenous Armenians to return in safety to Artsakh under international protections.
Please amplify Senator Markey’s and Representative Pallone’s principled stand by cosigning their bicameral letter in support of a constructive COP29, consistent with our shared values and human rights commitments—starting with justice for the people of Artsakh and Armenia.
Thank you for considering my request.
Sincerely,
Letter to U.S. Senators and Representatives to thank them for Co-Signing the Pallone-Markey Letter
