Advocate For Artsakh

In the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh), innocent people face relentless Azerbaijani attacks. Together, we can help restore security and eventually prosperity to the free people of this democratic republic. With a few clicks, you can continue to #AdvocateforArtsakh to Congress, by phone, email and social media.

  • Make A Call: Use the ANCA’s Quick Connect tool to urge your U.S. senators to provide funding for Artsakh demining and expansion of the Lady Cox Rehabilitation Center.
  • Send Letters to your Legislators:  Participants in the #AdvocateForArtsakh campaign who use Quick Connect to call their U.S. senators will have follow-up letters automatically sent to their senators and representative within 24 hours. Participants can opt-out by emailing anca@anca.org
  • Share the Message: Ask family and friends to join you in contacting your legislators by sharing the ANCA’s action alert – anca.org/artsakh – and using the hashtag #AdvocateForArtsakh

What Are We Advocating For?

Safety: Demining Artsakh allows its residents – especially kids – to live free from dangerous explosions. On a per-capita basis, Artsakh has endured record-breaking levels of mine-related fatalities and injuries, one-third of which have harmed children. The HALO Trust is near completion of its mission in Artsakh, but needs continued U.S. government support.

Security: Securing Artsakh’s borders is crucial for protecting its citizens and promoting a peaceful resolution that will help keep Artsakh safe and free. The Royce-Engel Peace Proposals, spearheaded by leaders of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, are key to keeping the peace and paving the way toward a durable and democratic negotiated settlement.

Rehabilitation: Providing desperately needed rehabilitation services, through U.S. funding for the Lady Cox Rehabilitation Center, will bring health and hope to children, adults, and the elderly of Artsakh and the region who suffer from mental and physical disabilities. This Center serves over 1,000 patients annually and, with American support, can do even more to help the most vulnerable.
