STEPANAKERT—Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh, Armen Sarkissian and Bako Sahakian met on Monday and discussed ways to advance cooperation between the two Armenian republics. President Sarkissian arrived in Artsakh on Sunday accompanied by First Lady, Nune Sarkissian.
Following the meeting the two presidents together with their spouses toured the central streets of Stepanakert and visited Shushi.
President Sarkissian told reporters at Shushi’s museum of fine arts that he has discussed wide range of issues with his Artsakh counterpart.
“We talked about the domestic situation in Artsakh, the conditions on the border, as well as a number of other issues. We also touched upon the future activity of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. No one can underestimate the efforts of this structure during all these years,â€
