GLENDALE—In light of the renewed Azeri aggression against the people of Artsakh, the Armenian Youth Federation has announced the re-launching of the “With Our Soldiers” campaign. The new phase of the initiative will be focused on aiding the families of those who are currently defending our liberated territories and helping the inhabitants of the border regions of Artsakh and Armenia impacted by attacks from Azerbaijan.

The re-launching of the campaign is connected with the renewed phase of aggression from Azerbaijan that has been observed in recent days. The AYF ‘With Our Soldiers’ task force calls upon the Armenian-American community to rally around Artsakh and show the firm support of the entire Armenian nation for the right of Artsakh Armenians to live peacefully on their ancestral land.

“In these difficult times, it is extremely important for all Armenians to come together and stand with the Armed Forces of Armenia and Artsakh, which are ensuring the security of our country’s borders and protecting the safety of our people,” said Karnig Parseghian, the member of the AYF Central Executive. “The people in Armenia and Artsakh should know that they are not alone in their struggle and that the entire Armenian nation stands behind them.”

In the coming days and weeks, the ‘With Our Soldiers’ task force will work with the Azadamardik Committee of the Supreme Body of the ARF in Armenia to identify the best avenues of providing assistance to the people and the defenders of Artsakh. We call upon our community to join that effort by giving what you can to enable us to do our work. Donations can be made at withoursoldiers.com/donate or by check payable to the Armenian Youth Federation (104 N. Belmont St. #303, Glendale, CA 91206).

“The recent aggression by Azerbaijan is an attack on the entire Armenia nation, and all of us must do what we can to send a clear message to the Azeri dictator, Ilham Aliyev,” adds David Arakelyan of the ‘With Our Soldiers’ task force. “We do not have a single square of inch of land to give to the Azeris, and the Armenian nation is determined to defend our liberated territories.”

The WOS program, first initiated by the AYF in 2012, provided medical services and assistance to more than 80 veterans of the Artsakh Liberation Movement, a report on which was prepared and published by the AYF.
