YEREVAN (Arka)””The Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) with the support of Ucom telecom provider on Thursday opened July 7 the first Armath engineering lab in the Artsakh IT Center, raising their total number across Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh to 131.
The opening ceremony was attended by UITE vice-chairman Hayk Chobanyan, Ucom CEO Hayk Yesayan, Instigate company CEO Vahan Poghosyan, head of Artsakh IT center Narine Hambardzumyan and others.
“Thanks to this initiative, schoolchildren as young as 10 will be able to start learning engineering skills, which will make them more competitive,’ Chobanyan said.
