Karekin II Slams Baku During Meeting With Azeri Religious Leader

MOSCOW””His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, strongly criticized Azerbaijan’s continued military aggression, Baku’s rejection to work toward peace and cemented Artsakh’s right to live as a free and independent people during a meeting Friday with the Azerbaijani religious leader Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade at the St. Daniel’s Patriarchal Monastery in the Russian capital.

Addressing the meeting, which was also attended by His Holiness Kirill I, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Karekin II said that there can be “no alternative”
