GLENDALE — In an effort to promote the importance of literacy, Chamlian celebrated Read Across America Day on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2nd, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
Fourteen Chamlian alumni volunteered to be guest readers for 1st through 5th grade students. Some readers read Dr. Seuss books while others read well-known Armenian titles such as “Kach Nazarâ€
