Dear Senator / Representative:
I am writing to alert you to an unfolding humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) caused by Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor – the only road linking Artsakh to Armenia, serving as Artsakh’s only humanitarian lifeline for food, medical supplies, and other vital goods.
It is imperative Azerbaijan’s corrupt dictatorship be forcefully condemned for this egregious violation of international law, and be held accountable by the United States.
My family and I urge you to publicly condemn Azerbaijan’s actions, cut all military assistance to Azerbaijan, and work with USAID and appropriate agencies to send emergency humanitarian assistance to Artsakh.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please reach out to the ANCA at (202) 775-1918 or legislative@anca.org.
The situation is dire. My family and I look forward to hearing about your actions on this matter as soon as possible.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. President / Madame Vice-President:
I am writing to alert you to an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) caused by Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor – the only road linking Artsakh to Armenia, and Artsakh’s only humanitarian lifeline for food, medical supplies, and other vital goods.
Azerbaijan’s aggression against the Armenian people has continued unabated since the 2020 war. Over 100 Armenian prisoners of war remain in Azerbaijan’s illegal detention, where they face torture, millennia-old Armenian cultural sites have been systematically desecrated and destroyed, and thousands of civilians have been displaced as a result of Azerbaijan’s encroachment into Armenia’s sovereign territory as recently as September.
It is imperative Azerbaijan’s corrupt dictatorship be forcefully condemned for this egregious violation of international law and be held accountable by the United States. This must begin with an immediate halt to all U.S. military aid to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan must not be allowed to act with impunity. We urge you to publicly condemn Azerbaijan’s actions, ensure the U.S. does not continue to enable and embolden this behavior through the provision of military assistance to Azerbaijan, and direct USAID and appropriate agencies to send emergency humanitarian assistance to Artsakh.
The situation is dire. My family and I look forward to hearing about the action the United States has taken on this matter as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
