Dear President Biden / Vice-President Harris:

Stop shipping U.S. arms and aid to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan has been choking off fuel, electricity, food, and water from Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh), and continues to terrorize the peace-loving citizens of this proud republic with relentless rocket attacks, shelling, and sniper fire. Parallel to these unprovoked assaults, Baku continues to attack, invade, and occupy territory in Armenia.

I remain deeply troubled that you have waived Section 907 sanctions against Azerbaijan, and call on you today to immediately end any and all U.S. military or security aid to this oil-rich and openly racist regime.

As an American, I stand with Artsakh and call on you to do the same – condemning Azerbaijan’s aggression, holding its leaders accountable for war crimes, and calling upon all Americans to support the national and democratic aspirations of the Armenian people. End your aid blockade of Artsakh by immediately providing at least $50,000,000 in direct U.S. humanitarian aid to help Artsakh families rebuild their lives and resettle in safety upon their indigenous Armenian homeland.

Thank you for your attention to my requests for a fundamental reset of our failed U.S. policies. I look forward to your response.

Your generosity empowers our advocacy, inspires our work, and sustains our momentum.
