11/24/13 - President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation of U.S. congressmen including Democrat Jim McDermott from Washington's 7th congressional district, Democrat James Moran from Virginia's 8th congressional district, Republican Billy Long from Missouri's 7th congressional district, and Democrat Donald Payne, Jr. from New Jersey's 10th congressional district.

President Ilham Aliyev said the visit by the U.S. congressmen was a good opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with Azerbaijan.

The congressmen praised rapid development processes in Azerbaijan.

The importance of reciprocal visits in terms of development of Azerbaijan-U.S. relations was stressed during the meeting.

The President and the congressmen discussed prospects for the bilateral cooperation.
