STEPANAKERT—Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) recently visited Arsen Baghdasaryan, an Armenian soldier who was detained by Azerbaijani troops on December 26, 2014 for crossing the border of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic.
In 2015, an Azerbaijani court sentenced Baghdasaryan to 15 years imprisonment, with charges of “making sabotage operations.â€
