CONSIDERING

That, on April 24, 2014, the 99th anniversary of the genocide of THE Armenians perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1923 was commemorated.

That on the night of April 24, 1915, the authorities of the Ottoman Empire, the leaders of the Union and Progress Party, Young Turks, launched the program of arrests of intellectuals, politicians, scientists, writers, artists, Armenian men and women, organized deportations and then mass killings of the civilian populations of the territories of historic Armenia and Anatolia, with the tragic result of over one and a half million Armenian men, women and children were killed.At present, investigations carried out by men and women of different nationalities (including Armenians and Turks), as well as documentary evidence from various countries of the world, have demonstrated the veracity of the acts of genocide against the Armenian people and validly corroborated the nature of a plan of extermination directed against this national minority that inhabited the territories that at that time were part of the Ottoman Empire.

The Chamber of Deputies, in application of what is established by Articles 103 and 131 of the General Regulations of the Chamber of Deputies,

DECLARES

Its solidarity with the Armenian people and their descendants, who make up the Armenian communities of the world, having fulfilled on April 24, the 99th anniversary of the genocide of Armenians perpetrated by the authorities of the Ottoman Empire, between 1915 and 1923. Likewise, the Chamber of Deputies of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly expresses its strong rejection of all negationist policies against humanity and expresses its support for the efforts of the Armenian Diaspora, formed by survivors of this lamentable event, in order to obtain recognition by Turkey and the international community of the genocide of which their ancestors fell victim.

CONSIDERANDO:

Que, el 24 de abril de 2014 se conmemoro el 99 aniversario del genocide de armenios perpetrado por el Imperio Otomano entre los años 1915 y 1923.

Que, la noche del 24 de abril de 1915, fue cuando les autoridades del Impero Otomano, los dirigentes del Partido Union y Progreso, jovenes Turcos, lanzaron el programa de arrestos a intelectuales, politicos, cientificos, escritores, artistas, religiosos, medicos, hombres publicos y prodesionales armenos, deportaciones estratégicas y luego matanzes masivas de las poblaciones civiles de los territorios de la histórica Armenia Occidental y Anatolia, con el trágico resultado de más de mil quinientos hombres, mujeres y ninos armenios asesinados.

Que, en kla actualidad, investigacionses realizados por hombres y mujeres de distintas nacionalidades (incluidos armenios y turcos), asi como también pruebas documentales de diversos paises del mundo, han demostrado la veracidad de los actos de genocidio contra el pueblo armenio y corroborado fehacientemente la naturaleza de un plan de exterminio dirigido contra esta minoria nacional que habitaba los territories que por entonces formaban parte del Imperio Otomano.

POR TANTO

La Cámara de Diputados en aplicación a lo establecido por los Articulos 103 y 131 del Reglamento General de la Cámara de Diputados,

DECLARA

Su solidaridad con el pueblo armenio y sus descendientes, que integran las colectividades armenias del mundo, al haberse cumplido el pasado 24 de abril, el 99 aniversario del genocidio de armenios peretrado por las autoridades del Imperio Otomano, entre los anos 1915-1923. Asimismo, la Cámara de Diputados de la Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional, manifiesta su enérgico rechazo a toda politica negacionista de lesa humanidad y manifiesta su apoyo a los esfuerzos de la diaspora Armenia coformada por sobrevivientes de este hecho lamentable, para obtener el reconocimiento por parte de Turquia y la comunidad internacional del genocidio del que fueron voctimas sus antepasados.

CHAMBER STATEMENT Nº.122 / 2014-2015

THE PLENARY OF THE CHAMBER OF SENATORS,

CONSIDERING:

That the Plurinational Legislative Assembly of Bolivia shares and is in solidarity with the Armenian people, for the struggle of their claims, the preservation of human rights, and the establishment of truth and justice.

That, the Camarinal Declarations are statements that express the official position of the Senate, on issues of national and international interest.

SO,

The Chamber of Senators in use of its powers established by the Political Constitution of the State, and Articles 164 and 165 of its General Regulations,

DECLARES:

Their firm commitment to human rights, truth and justice, and their solidarity and condemnation against all negationist policies regarding genocide and crimes against humanity suffered by the Armenian Nation.

It is given in the Chamber of Sessions of the Chamber of Senators of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly of Bolivia, on the twenty-seventh day of November of the year two thousand and fourteen.

DECLARACION CAMARAL Nº.122/2014-2015

EL PLENO DE LA CAMARA DE SENADORES,

CONSIDERANDO:

Que, la AsambleaLegislativa Plurinacional de Bolivia, comparte y es solidaria con el pueblo Armenio, por la lucha de sus reivindicaciones, la conservación de los derechos humanos, y el establecimiento de la verdad y la justicia.

Que, las Declaraciones Camarales son pronunciamientos que expresan la posición official de la Cámara de Senadores, en torno a temas de interés nacional e internacional.

POR TANTO,

La Cámara de Senadores en uso de sus facultades establecidas por la Constitución Politica del Estado, y los Articulos 164 y 165 de su Reglamento General,

DECLARA:

Su firme compromise con los derechos humanos, la verdad y la husticia, y su solidaridad y condena contra toda politica negacionista respect al genocidio y los crimenes de lesa humanidad sufrido por la Nación Armenia.

Es dada en la Sala de Sesiones de la Cámara de Senadores de ka Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional de Bolivia, a los veintisiete dias del mes de noviembre del ano dos mil catorce.
