“THAT DECLARES THE INTEREST OF THIS HONORABLE CHAMBER OF SENATORS, AND RECOGNIZES THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE”

THE HONORABLE CHAMBER OF SENATORS OF THE NATION

DECLARES

Article 1 – The Senate of the Republic of Paraguay recognizes the Genocide suffered by the Armenian people in the period 1915-1923, committed by the Turkish-Ottoman Empire, when the centenary of this crime against humanity is commemorated this year.

Article 2 – So ordered.

LA HONORABLE CÁMARA DE SENADORES DE LA NACIÓN

DECLARA:

Artículo #1.- El Senado de la República del Paraguay reconoce el Genocidio sufrido por el pueblo Armenio en el periodo 1915 – 1923, cometido por el Imperio Turco-Otomano, al se este año el Centenario de dicho crimen de lesa humanidad.
