WATERTOWN, MA — The Armenian National Committee of America Eastern Region is pleased to announce the hiring of Arin Gregorian as Director.

Gregorian comes to the position having served as a summer intern during the summers of 1998 and 1999 and having led many projects for the ANCA in recent years.

Gregorian is a candidate for a Master’s of Science in Professional Communications at Clark University, where he also earned his Bachelors Degree in Government and Public Policy with a concentration in ethics and public policy.

An active member of the Armenian American community, he has held several positions in the Armenian Youth Federation – Youth Organization of the ARF. He has served as a summer camp counselor and staff member at AYF Camp Haiastan.

“We are extremely excited about Arin joining our staff. He brings tremendous experience and energy to the position,” stated Sharistan Ardhaldjian, chairperson of the ANCA ER. “Arin comes to the ANCA with a strong background in activism and a consistent commitment to the many issues of concern to the Armenian American community. He is sure to greatly help the ANCA continue its work to further promote important issues such as recognition of the Armenian Genocide, increased US aid to Armenia, and supporting Karabagh’s right to self-determination.”

Gregorian replaces Grace Kehetian Kulegian who has served as Executive Director for the past five years. “The ANCA ER was fortunate to have had the great dedication and commitment of Grace Kehetian Kulegian,” stated Ardhaldjian. “Her consistent energy, persistence, and charismatic diplomacy have been the cornerstone of the great work that the ANCA has achieved.”

Gregorian will begin his tenure immediately.

With over 45 chapters across the country, the Armenian National Committee of American is the largest Armenian-American grassroots political organization. The ANCA actively advances a broad range of issues of concern to the Armenian-American community.
